Vast rain-fed almond orchards across the municipality of Mula, in central Murcia near the Sierra Espuña. Blossom routes take in areas such as Casas Nuevas, Fuente Librilla and the Campo de Cagitán.
What grows here
Almond trees grown for their nuts, in several varieties and almost all rain-fed. According to the town council, the municipality has close to 21,000 ha of almond orchards (20,762 ha in 2022). Blossom is concentrated in February.
